You may not be aware of how you breathe? but the way you breathe may be affecting your health and wellness.

​

Dysfunctional breathing can be seen with respiratory conditions like Asthma but it can also also relate to poor sleep, anxiety, stressors at home or work, or breathlessness which might affect how well you able to go about your daily life. It may show up as trying to take many deep breaths to get oxygen in, yawning or sighing excessively, over breathing - or having to breathe too fast for the task you are doing.

Learning the Buteyko breathing exercises can help regulate your breathing and therefore benefit your issues, this may be alongside any medication that you may need to take.

​

This course will run over 4 sessions – teaching you both the Buteyko breathing exercises and the theory to understand the why and the how.

​

This course is suitable for people with Asthma, poor sleeping patterns, Stress and anxiety, chronic hyperventilation, and other respiratory conditions or anyone who would like to improve their breathing skills.

​

 If you are thinking of a specific reason or problem that is not listed, please get in touch. If this is something that is new to you, we will guide you through every step of the way.

​

From being apprehensive, to understanding some theory, to becoming proficient in the breathing exercises which have been used by many participants all over the world to make a difference to their health and wellbeing.

​

We go through the exercises with you, so that you can feel confident in practising the exercises at home and therfore continue to get the benefits from regular practice.

​

Small group practice - Everyone on the course may have a different reason for attending and will grasp the exercises as their ability or condition allows, we can adjust the breathing exercises to suit.

​

Not all the exercises may not be suitable for you if have certain medical conditions please contact us for further information to see if this course is right for you.

​

We provide you with handouts and video recordings to help you remember the exercises for practice at home.
